happy new years eve

image via the interwebs

Bring on 2012!
I am so excited for the weddings that I have booked for this coming year!
2011 was a HUGE year of growth for AAP and I can hardly wait to see what 2012 will bring forth!

Please be safe while celebrating!
I am planning on having a bon fire to burn over 30 trees, BBQ and staying up to watch the ball drop!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Dear Ollie,

I found this story on Our Daily Obsessions blog and it kind of broke my heart.

You see, Oliver is a 10 year old boy diagnosed with DIPG {Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma} also known as pediatric brain stem caner in 2009. This Christmas will be his last, unless Jesus grants him a miracle. Luckily Ollie is able to be home to spend this last holiday with the ones who love him the most.

You can read more about this sweet boy on the blog his family set up : www.oliverpalmer.blogspot.com

Ollie loves receiving cards, a few bloggers got together from all over the states and decided to send him a Christmas card. I am participating because my heart breaks for this family just knowing how little time he has, he must be scared and sad. Lets make him feel loved and let him know we are praying for him and his family to have the best Christmas of all. {Holy run on sentence} I am not going to ask you to donate {though there is an option to do so on his blog, to help with medical expenses and such} I am just asking you to write one extra Christmas card this year, it will cost you but one card, envelope and stamp.

Mail your card to:
Oliver Palmer
417 Oaklawn Ave.
Waterloo, IA 50701

This is what this season is about, spreading the holiday cheer and doing what Christ would do.

XOXO

Mrozek/Graddy Florida Family Photographer

And then there was a horse. . .of course!

I met this family out at Black Hammock the Saturday after Thanksgiving. They were awesome, the weather was delightful and we were photo-bombed by a horse in an orange grove!
They took advantage of my Holiday mini session specials!
Which you can find out more about on my FB fan page linked in the button below!

New look and specials

What would your grandma, mother, or friends love to see this season?
How about a beautiful custom photograph of their loved ones!

As you can see the blog has undergone a slight transformation.
I spent the whole day trying to copy a HUGE html code by hand when all I had to do was save it as a PDF! Craziness.
I am happy with the results, the new look is very much me.
The only reason i'm pushing the special so much is that it is only good through December 11th, for the $55 price tag it is quite a deal!

XOXO

Myla + Eric

11.5.11
There was this boy that loved this girl. They both have firey red locks and love of comics. The boy made her his and gave her the wedding of her dreams!
This couple is so sweet, so giggly and perfect for each other!
I loved working with them, and I am honored that my first wedding was theirs.

The day started off at Box Office Salon in Winter Springs

And then it was off to one of the Bridesmaid's house to get ready. The Bride did her own make up and the make up of each of her maids.

At this point the skys were gray and we were praying the rain would hold off, the mother of the bride discovered a dead duck in the grill of the grooms car, and one of the ushers tried to convince us that his brown socks would match. Still, Myla was unrattled.
As she applied her make up and put her jewelry on she was giddy!

Myla's dress was inspired by Marilyn Monroe and her mom made it! It was beautiful!

Image inspired by a find on Pinterest!

The couple was married at the beautiful Lake Lilly in Maitland, Florida and the reception was celebrated at the Maitland Civic Center.

This couple is expecting their first baby soon! So sweet!

This is their son and ringbearer!

The beautiful and delicious cake was made by Myla's sister!
Such a talented family!

And with that, I wish the Bride and Groom all the happiness in the world and many many years of blissful marriage!
