Awaiting Naimah JULY 2012

This is my beautiful cousin Hannah carry her first baby, Naimah.
We were graced with some great lighting on a Sunday afternoon.
I was excited to meet up with her, especially at one of my favorite places down south!
This was my second maternity session and we had some fun with the shots!

People were generally interested in what was going on and how far along she was!

Jump to August 15th and Naimah was born!
Baby Naimah has been hospitalized since then due to some complications at birth.
Day by day God is showing his grace and healing her and her mama, but they could use continued prayer! Please lift them up, they've had a rough start!

I am hoping that we will eventually be able to do pictures of them together but right now what is important is getting them both healthy and whole :)

I'll post an update soon!

And YES, my watermark has changed more times than a chameleon sitting on a rainbow.
I really should do something about that, hmmm. . .

Anyways, in the last 8 months I have learned SO much, I've grown more comfortable with my own style of photography. I feel that my work is much improved and I can only thank those who have entrusted me with capturing their memories for letting me learn and mature from the experience.
I also have a second shooter now,
my brother Bob!
It turns out that the talent runs in family and he has a passion for it too.
We are both team Canon and now that he lives up here we have plenty of time to experiment with sparklers and such :)
It's been a fun 8 months and I can't wait for the next few!

I'll be starting back up with detailed blog posts starting with Hannah's maternity session soon!

So stay tuned.
If you have any questions about booking a shoot with me please feel free to shoot me an email at:

Happy Saturday!

The Hill Family >> South Florida Photographer

While on Christmas break I went home to good ol' Martin County.
During my break I was contacted by a family friend wanting some pictures done.
The Hill's are in business with diet phenominon Visalis and have worked their way up the ranks, even winning a beautiful black beamer!
Because of their sucess they were in need of some head shots too!

They have some beautiful french hens!
Their property is stunning and the lighting was perfect, it was so nice to work with them!

A + S Engaged >> Oviedo Wedding Photographer

Just days before Christmas we headed out to Black Hammock in Oviedo, FL.

I look forward to shooting their wedding in December 2012.

Dear Ollie,

I found this story on Our Daily Obsessions blog and it kind of broke my heart.

You see, Oliver is a 10 year old boy diagnosed with DIPG {Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma} also known as pediatric brain stem caner in 2009. This Christmas will be his last, unless Jesus grants him a miracle. Luckily Ollie is able to be home to spend this last holiday with the ones who love him the most.

You can read more about this sweet boy on the blog his family set up : www.oliverpalmer.blogspot.com

Ollie loves receiving cards, a few bloggers got together from all over the states and decided to send him a Christmas card. I am participating because my heart breaks for this family just knowing how little time he has, he must be scared and sad. Lets make him feel loved and let him know we are praying for him and his family to have the best Christmas of all. {Holy run on sentence} I am not going to ask you to donate {though there is an option to do so on his blog, to help with medical expenses and such} I am just asking you to write one extra Christmas card this year, it will cost you but one card, envelope and stamp.

Mail your card to:
Oliver Palmer
417 Oaklawn Ave.
Waterloo, IA 50701

This is what this season is about, spreading the holiday cheer and doing what Christ would do.

XOXO
